Art in the Heart of the Cowboy Trail
During the week of August 4th
visitors to the towns Black Diamond, and Turner Valley and the Village of Longview, will be treated to an immersion into the arts! Over 30 businesses in these towns have invited various artists and artisans to display and sell their works. The businesses who are participating in the Art Walk will display colourful streamers and will have brochures available that include maps with lists of contributing stores.
Works will include Chinese ink paintings, stone mosaics, photography, jewellery, oils, watercolours, ceramics, garden art and more.
The finale for the week long event will be "Art in the Park" (Royalite Millenium Park in Turner Valley). It will be an opportunity to see the various artists and artisans working and displaying
their works, here you will also have an opportunity to purchase their work.
