We are a family orientated restaurant situated south of Black Diamond on highway # 22 at the entrance to the village of Longview, and close to the "gateway" to the Kananaskis Mountains.
The menu provides a selection of Western cuisine such as a variety of burgers, and steak sandwiches - cooked to your specification of course.
Our Chef also provides a selection of European cuisine for your culinary enjoyment such as Bratwurst and Rösti; Schnitzel and Spätzli.
The salad dressing, soups and desserts are home made every day. Meals are freshly prepared in the kitchen as ordered by the customer.
We also offer Fondue and Raclette for those with an enterprising palette.
Our Chef is most particular in her choice of ingredients for her menu, and will use only the freshest available to visually enhance her final presentation.
The Black Cat restaurant is a log house that can comfortably seat 36 people inside; the deck seats 30 people. While the interior of the restaurant is air conditioned in the summer for those needing the coolness,
our deck provides scenic views of the area surrounding Longview.
During the winter months, the ever-present wood-burning stove enhances the warm, friendly ambience.
On the walls of the restaurant are personal family items and pictures collected by the owners - all of which add to the "home" atmosphere and provide uniqueness to this restaurant.
